Like with all sofa cleaning the removal of dry soil is very important. Below I explain the steps in removing all dry soil and dirt from your sofa.
Steps we use to clean your sofa.
- We pre vacuum all the cushions and the frame of your sofa. We do this first as if you don’t , once you have got the fabric wet, you will turn the dry soil into mud and it will be very difficult to get out of the pile of the fabric.
- Second we pre spray the areas to be cleaned with our pre spray that is designed just for the fabric of your sofa. This pre spray breaks down all the grease, dirt and staining in the fabric.
- If the pre spray does not release the stain we can chose from our selection of stain remover solutions to break the more stubborn stains down further.
- Once all the pre spray and stain removers are applied and have had a dwell time on the fabric. The next stage can happen.
- This is the extraction stage. This is when we spray under pressure hot water onto you sofa which breaks up all our cleaning solutions and the dirt and stains and gets vacuumed up into our portable cleaning machine. This process leaves the fabric slightly damp, So step six dries the fabric.
- The drying of your sofa is very important. While we are cleaning we will use air movers to dry your sofa. Once we have left, a few areas of your sofa may still be a little damp. We encourage people to open windows and put the heating on to help speed up the drying.
