What is fibre protection?
Fibre protection is a solution that is applied to your rug after the cleaning and drying process. Once the rug is fully cleaned removing all the dry soil, dirt and mud. The rug is then dried on our drying racks in our drying room.
The rug is then laid flat on the floor and the protection is sprayed onto the rug. This is a solution that will not damage your rugs fibres or dyes in any way. The protection simply coats the fibres in a breathable protection solution. This prevents any accidental spillages becoming permanent stains. The spillage will bead on top of the fibre and stay there for a few minutes rather then soaking straight into the fibre on an unprotected fibre.
Along with our Rug Pad having your rug treated with our rug protector will help your rug last longer and prevent the rug wearing out or stains becoming permanent.
