DEVON'S PREMIER RUG CLEANING SERVICE
Don't Let Your Friends Be Victimized By Uneducated,
Uninformed & Sometimes Downright Unscrupulous Rug Cleaners!
Plymouth Rug Cleaning was created in 2009 as part of Executive Cleaning Services (S.W.) Ltd.
With rugs becoming more and more popular as floor coverings on top of natural stone flooring and wooden flooring, so Plymouth Rug Cleaning was formed.
Andi Hill has undertaken the Master Rug Cleaner Program, and Plymouth Rug Cleaning is very proud to say that he is the first Master Rug Cleaner in the South West of England operating with a RugBadger machine.
The RugBadger is a piece of equipment used in the cleaning of oriental rugs, which has been imported from Canada. Andi runs Plymouth Rug Cleaning using the first RugBadger in the South West.
Plymouth Rug Cleaning works from a rug cleaning studio and every rug is cleaned with the upmost care and respect whether its a hand-knotted Persian or a designer machine made rug.
All rugs go through a full in-depth inspection and dye testing procedures before the correct washing system is choosen.
Why should I have my rug cleaned?
Rugs should be cleaned because they collect soil, sediment and pollutants just like carpets do. All this grit and sediment is very damaging to the fibres of the rug. The sediment is very fine and if there is to much dry sediment in the rug it starts to act like a knife and cut the fibers. Creating wear and tear of the pile. We recommend once a year to have your rugs cleaned, and depending on the amount of foot traffic on you rug, every six months to have the grit gently vibrated out using our RugBadger.
Just like carpets and upholstery, rugs act like a filter and collect all the pollutants in the pile. Just like any other filter it needs to be regulary cleaned. It is not a bad thing that carpets and rugs collect soil, sediment and pollutants. In fact it is very healthy. By collecting all the pollutants like a filter it stops small particles being airborne and so you do not breathe them in helping to reduce such problems as, Asthma and Allergies.
